Suggestions or Concerns?

Our intention is to update you (our neighbors) on the activities of the
House & Grounds Committee. Check back to learn about past, present, and planned
projects. Send us an email to offer any suggestions or share specific concerns you
may have. In the future, we hope to grow the site with guest contributors, volunteer
sign ups for special projects, planting tips, coupons and special offers from
nurseries, etc.

Current Projects

3800 bales of pine-straw have been installed by the SouthLand landscapers. If 3800 bales
of were positioned end to end that would be 8660 ft or 1.7miles. Thats 3x larger than the
worlds largest skyscraper!

The Beresford Pasture is now being mowed every other week, this will make
it much nicer to walk dogs in, throw a ball with the kids, or just take a stroll.

Spring has sprung here at Beresford Hall, and the employees of SouthLand
Landscape have been very busy! A few examples of the most recent projects:

· Pick up of debris in Beresford Woods Park.

· Trails blown clean.

· Hand weeding the “common vetch” in the sweet grass.

Planned Projects

· Pinestraw bales installed including applying, tucking and trenching where needed.

· The 2010 annual plantings will be similar to those planted in spring of 2009:
